Filed under: accommodation, Black-and-whaite, model shooting, TFCD — Tags: , , , , , , — bathori @ 7:01 pm

Finally… I got to this point where I can upload the results of this accommodation shooting… Timea is fun, laughs a lot and time by her side passes quickly… I barely realized how fast I shot two rolls of KODAK BW400CN at J`ai Bistro pub at that October day, when autumn was in full splendor… With many faces and expressions, I hope I shall have more shooting with her, near soon! Because I already started to meditate on my winter project …

Here are the analog shots…

FOUR NON BLONDES – TFCD

Well, this shooting took place quite some time ago, I must admit. After meeting with Florina who put up a personal collection of dresses and wanted to be photographed in a creative way, I took up the challenge to make some sort of story of this shooting. Me and my light assistant, Claudiu, went to Cluj prepared with some ideas based on some pictures about the dresses and the location. One of the challenges was to coordinate 6 female models on the scene, in a limited space. When we reached the shooting location models were arriving, hair and make-up was in progress… After inspecting the room an the hallway of the old building, in order to set the scene and the point of view of the shots, we were told that two models stepped back from this project and we need to work with the remaining four. Well… and we started shooting. The following photos are my story about four non blondes women, having a good time and preparing to get out and have fun in the city…

It feels somehow peculiar posting a shooting’s result after almost half year from the shooting day… brings back memories, moments, laughter and fun time. As for myself, it was a unique experience to work with four models in the same time, paying attention to story line, details, emotions, the dresses… I must admit, at the end, I was drenched mentally and the driving home to Tirgu Mures was performed by my assistant Claudiu, excellently!  Thank for the patience folks, it was nice and memorable working together and congratulation to the whole team!

A WARM WELCOME

so, I’ve been announced the teaser for quite a long time, but the post processing of this shooting took a bit more than I expected… nevertheless patience pays off, I guess. In a nutshell, this shooting was the most prepared of mine, involving a huge team effort, planning and financial costs. The idea of this shooting started around Halloween last year and slowly grew by time. In this spring all thing seemed to fall in place and we prepared seriously for this shooting. We did a location scouting, storyboard making, make-up tests and finally when the weekend of the shooting came, we entered in our role… One of the challenges was to shoot this story not in according to the timeline of the story… Overall I feel kind of content of the outcome. Much we’ve learned of this, I am pretty sure… how and when we shall make another story is yet to be determined, but one thing is certain, I am not going to stop here… Nope!

So, I guess the story is far from perfect, I admit that. I just hope is understandable… I tend to see stories like this like a movie in my head and I am trying to capture the key frames in photos, in order to force the viewer to fill the missing blanks… The last photo is the group shot after the first day of shooting. Credits to: Endreffy Csaba (project manager), Anamaria V. ( lady of the manor), Éva Bartha (maid girl), Réka Kopacz (maid girl), Dudás Szabolcs (salesman/victim), Gyopi Puskás (make-up). This way you can easily figure out who am I in that last photo … And great thanks for Claudiu Baias (light assistant – post process editor) !!!

Beata – Shooting

She was introduced to me by a fellow shooter and I must admit I jumped on the opportunity to use my camera again… But by the end of the shooting I learned my lesson… Always spend some time with the model in order to “feel” her and get her comfortable with your style and demands… Not many shots came out as I desired… I post this session to remind me never make that mistake again…

Barna – Shooting

… I must admit this was a spontaneous shooting today at noon, when my brother and I met in Zanza for a coffee…I took advantage of the available light from two large windows, a prime lens 50/1,8 mk1 from Canon and my friends  40D camera… I can only say, the coffee tasted good and I enjoyed myself!

Ioana is back! – Shooting

I found a new place for my model shooting activity and wanted to test the potential of this location. Ioana was glad to pose me once again. I intended to use available light, but sometimes I could not resist to abuse the golden reflector…

Amy is a young girl who is about to try out some modeling experiences. She asked me to help her out with some photos in order to be able to study herself… The shooting started somehow uneasy but at the end it was fun alltogether…
